About Us
NOVA Therapy Services is a mobile private speech and language therapy practice that services the pediatric population from ages 5 through 18. We accept virtual clients anywhere in the state of Texas. In addition, NOVA is a Special Education contracting company that provides speech therapy services to various school districts around the nation.
Meet the Owner
Teni Bakare M.A., CCC-SLP
SLP/Owner
Teni is the Owner of NOVA Therapy Services, PLLC. Teni received her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders from Stephen F. Austin State University, and received her Master’s Degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders at Hampton University.

Teni holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in the state of Texas and North Carolina.
With a specialization for children and adults, Teni has experience in private practices/clinics, home settings, public schools, hospitals, and online via teletherapy platform. She has provided speech/language therapy for various communication disorders in the area of: receptive and expressive language, pragmatic language/social communication, articulation, fluency, AAC, and cognitive-linguistic deficits. In addition, Teni has experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Developmental Delays, and Intellectual Disabilities.
Outside of work, Teni enjoys traveling, shopping, fitness, and spending time with family and friends.
